I value your time and to keep things nice and sweet, please forgive me for my short but close-to-my-heart brain dump below.
As I type this out about myself, I can’t believe that 7 year old me knew that the moment itself wouldn’t last forever, but the photos would allow me to have a forever tangible memory of what once was. That’s exactly how I photograph now. I want my clients to be able to be themselves, have fun, enjoy one another, be present and let me photograph them for who they are, as they are. I don’t photograph for the present moment, I photograph for your future storytelling purpose. When you’re 68 years old and your grandkids are going through “old’ photo albums, they’ll be able to see what how their grandparent’s chemistry was. How their style looked. How their love felt. Not sure how I do this? Well, I’d say my energy is…adaptable. If you need a hype girl, I will be THE BIGGEST hype girl during your session, pulling out all of the “OH MY GAAAAAADDDDD” and “YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS” all session long. However, if, as a couple, you’re more on the quiet, intimate side, don’t worry, I got you, because primarily I’m that way too.
A lover of love, genuine connection and documenting forever memories. I’m a wife (married since November 2013) and a mom to these crazy kids. Being married and then later becoming a mom, my perspective on love has shifted to much. I’ve learned that love doesn’t completely change as the years go on, it evolves. It evolves because you evolve. And the beautiful thing about marriage is, as you evolve, your partner evolves and you’re there to witness, love and support one another through it. And through that evolution you learn to love one another in ways you had no idea were possible.
I began my journey as a photographer almost 8 years ago although I’ve been taking photos since I was just a girl who loved taking photos just to be able to relive the memories.
